
Amaravati, March 29 Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu extended greetings to all members of the TDP on the occasion of its 44th foundation day.
The chief minister said the party has always upheld NTR Rama Rao's principle of providing food, shelter, and clothing to the poor, adding that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) stands as a party of its workers.
"Greetings to all members of the Telugu Desam Party" on the occasion of its 44th Foundation Day. The party, "founded by visionary NTR, is a reflection of the aspirations of generations of Telugu people," Naidu said in a post on X.
Describing the day as a festival for the party family, the TDP supremo conveyed his heartfelt greetings to every worker, acknowledging their role in strengthening the organization.
Similarly, IT Minister Nara Lokesh said the party was born for the self-respect and progress of Telugu people.
Inspired by the ideals of NTR, who proclaimed, "Society is the temple, and people are Gods", Lokesh said the party has stood as a support system for the poor.
He noted that it was only after the formation of the TDP that the oppressed, backward and weaker sections gained political and social recognition.
The IT Minister said that the TDP was the party that introduced welfare to the nation.
Extending his greetings, Lokesh said the party continues to move forward with the goal of making the Telugu people number one in the world.
