Hyderabad, March 15 Three people died and six others were injured after a truck collided with an auto-rickshaw in the Nalgonda district of Telangana on Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred in Nampally mandal around 3:30 pm when a truck carrying bricks experienced a tyre blowout, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The truck then veered off course and hit the auto.
The auto-rickshaw had pulled over to the side of the road, and passengers were getting out when the accident occurred.
One person died instantly, and two others succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital, a police official said.
Six others who were injured are currently receiving treatment, police added.
