March 19th, Aizawl: Organized jointly by the Thangram Indigenous Peoples Movement (TIPM) and the Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), the event was held under the theme "We Are Brothers." Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized the deep historical roots of the Zo people in the region. He stressed that while geographical boundaries may divide them, their ethnic ties remain unbreakable. Reaffirming his government's commitment to global Mizo unity, he highlighted the newly established Mizo Diaspora Cell and assured the Thangram community of continued support, stating, "We will not leave you as orphans." He also urged the youth to prioritize education as a tool for progress.

TIPM President K. Vana Chorei described the Chief Minister's visit as a historic milestone for the region, noting that it proved to surrounding communities that the Thangram people have a "parent figure." The event, which featured various traditional dances and musical performances, was chaired by MZP Vice President Sanghmingthanga and included addresses by other top MZP leaders.
