
February 24, New Delhi: On the second day of the International Spice Conference in Kochi, Shashi Tharoor emphasized India's leading position in the global spice trade.
He stated that the global spice market is expanding rapidly, and as the world's largest producer, India remains a formidable and widely recognized player in the industry.
Highlighting India's evolving trade outlook, Tharoor noted that the country now engages with global markets with renewed confidence, not just as a participant, but as a potential rule-maker.
