Mumbai, April 2 – Actor-businessman Raj Kundra is set to release his next ambitious Punjabi film, "The Great Punjab Robbery," which is scheduled for August 7.
On April 2, Raj unveiled a powerful and intense motion poster of "The Great Punjab Robbery" on his social media, offering a glimpse into what appears to be a compelling story of courage, rebellion, and destiny.
The motion poster, headlined by Raj, showcases him in a raw, gritty setting, holding a rifle and exuding ferocity and rage alongside his co-stars.
The makers also announced that "The Great Punjab Robbery" will be released worldwide in theaters on August 7, 2026.
"Chaos. Courage. Rebellion. Destiny. This is not just a robbery... it's a journey you've never seen before," the makers said.
"The Great Punjab Robbery" promises to be a cinematic experience unlike any other in Punjabi cinema.
"The Great Punjab Robbery" features a formidable ensemble cast, including Raj Kundra, Payal Rajput, Garvita Sadhwani, Mahabir Bhullar, Paramveer Singh, Ankit Sagar, Amit Behl, and Kulvir Sony, in a large-scale, action-packed spectacle.
Raj Kundra made his acting debut in 2025 with "Mehar," alongside Geeta Basra and Savita Bhatti, directed by Rakesh Mehta. The film revolves around Karamjit, a farmer in rural Punjab, seeking redemption and family reunion.
He was also featured in the reality show "The Traitors," based on the Dutch series "De Verraders." The show was hosted by Karan Johar.
Following the premise of "De Verraders," the show features a group of contestants participating in a game similar to "Mafia" or "Werewolf," where an informed minority (known as the "Traitors") must eliminate an uninformed majority (known as the "Innocents") to win.
Meanwhile, the "Innocents" are tasked with identifying the "Traitors" and voting them out of the game in order to win.
