A media delegation from Chhattisgarh visited Thegu village, a site within the Vibrant Village Programme (VVP) in East Sikkim, which has a population of over 200 people, yesterday. Officials from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police briefed the journalists on the various activities and developments being undertaken under the Vibrant Village Programme. Today, the delegation will meet with Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang and is scheduled to visit the Sevoke-Rangpo Railway Project in the afternoon.
