The third Sifung Cultural Festival has commenced in Chirang, at Roumari, as a two-day event. The festival was inaugurated by award-winning authors Raja Birbal and Harinarayan Khaklari.
Sifung Harimu Afat promotes traditional Bodo music, dance, and culture, and provides training to students. On the first day, competitions were held among young people from various branches of the organization. A cultural procession and additional competitions are planned for the second day.
