
Nainital, February 19 The Uttarakhand High Court received an email on Thursday threatening to bomb the premises, police said.
Several district courts had previously received similar threats.
According to police, in response to the threat, security agencies immediately evacuated the court premises and conducted a thorough search.
The email sender, who remains unidentified, claimed that a bomb had been planted in the court premises.
A heavy contingent, along with the dog and bomb squad, was dispatched to the court after receiving the email.
No bomb was found during the search. Entry to the court was restricted pending the search.
Earlier, the courts in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Tehri, and Rudraprayag had also received similar threatening emails.
