
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms with lightning at isolated locations in Kerala and Mahe over the next two to three days. In the Northwest and Central parts of the country, the maximum temperature is expected to gradually rise by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius over the next three days. Additionally, squally weather is likely to prevail over the Gulf of Mannar and Comorin area, which borders the Equatorial Indian Ocean, along and off the west coast of Sri Lanka, and in parts of the southeast Bay of Bengal, today.
