
Chennai, March 4 The DMK fielded sitting MP Tiruchi Siva and party spokesperson Professor J Constantine Ravindran as its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections scheduled for March 16.
A statement from the DMK said that party president and Chief Minister M K Stalin nominated Siva and Constantine Ravindran to contest the election.
The DMK has allocated one seat each to its allies – the Congress and the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) led by Premalatha Vijaykant.
