April 11, New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified the BJP's campaign ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections, addressing rallies in Katwa, Purba Bardhaman, Murshidabad, and Dakshin Dinajpur on Saturday.
He accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of corruption, divisive politics, and spreading misinformation.
In Murshidabad, the Prime Minister warned that the TMC would resort to "conspiracies" and fabricate AI-generated content as the elections approached.
PM Modi said the BJP's manifesto, released by Amit Shah, aims to end what he termed as the "misrule" of the TMC, implement the Uniform Civil Code, and prioritize national security.
Highlighting development promises in Purba Bardhaman, PM Modi said the BJP would create jobs, provide financial assistance to women, and ensure government benefits. He also pledged safer conditions for women and assistance for unemployed youth.
