In Assam's Cachar district, Trinamool Congress candidate Shahjahan Laskar received a major boost as Berhampore MP and former cricketer Yusuf Pathan campaigned in his support.
The campaign began with a large roadshow from Sonai playground, where Pathan sought votes from the public in favour of the party's candidate.
Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev was also present at the event.
