The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir promoted the Union Territory as a year-round tourism destination at SATTE 2026 in New Delhi, engaging travel operators and highlighting adventure, heritage, pilgrimage, and MICE opportunities while inviting global travellers to visit.

Srinagar, February 27: The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, today visited SATTE 2026 held at the Yashobhoomi Convention Center, New Delhi, where he engaged with leading travel and tour operators to promote the Union Territory as a premier, year-round tourism destination.

Interacting with industry stakeholders, the CM highlighted the region's diverse offerings — from adventure tourism and rich cultural heritage to spiritual pilgrimage circuits and world-class Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) opportunities. He reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening tourism infrastructure, enhancing connectivity, and building strong partnerships with the travel trade community.

Emphasizing the scenic beauty, cultural vibrancy, and hospitality of the region, Abdullah invited domestic and international travellers to experience an open and welcoming Jammu & Kashmir, ready to host visitors from across the world.

He was accompanied by his Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA Zadibal Tanveer Sadiq, MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah, and MLA Pahalgam Mohammad Altaf Kaloo.

The visit underscored the Union Territory’s proactive outreach to the global travel industry and its strategic push to position itself as one of India’s most dynamic all-season tourism destinations.
