Jamtara, March 14 A man from West Bengal and his two children were found dead in a well in Jharkhand's Jamtara district on Saturday, a police officer said.

The bodies were recovered from the well at Mudaberia Ashram in the Bagdehri police station area.

The deceased was identified as Laxman Murmu (50), who hailed from Murgthali village in West Bengal's Birbhum district. His daughter was aged seven, and his son was 11 years old, the officer said.

"The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. The man, originally from Bengal, had remarried after the death of his first wife," Major Kumar, SDPO of Nala, told
