Hyderabad, March 11: Actor Manchu Manoj, who has been working out intensely at the gym for the past three weeks to get in shape for director Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti's highly anticipated period action drama, "David Reddy," has now posted about his determination and how his efforts are paying off.
In a post on his Instagram page, the actor wrote, "Three weeks ago, I made a decision. No more compromising. No more excuses. No more saying, "I'll start on Monday." Back to serious training. Just the work."
He continued, "In action cinema, there's no room for faking it. Every punch, every fall, every collision. Your body either delivers or it doesn't. The camera doesn't care about your intentions. It only captures what you've earned. So I stopped training to look a certain way. I started training to become unbreakable. When your body is your craft, shortcuts are a betrayal. Every scar is a testament. Every exhausted breath is a price you pay."
Manchu Manoj then quoted boxing legend Muhammad Ali, saying, "Ali said it best. 'The fight is won or lost far from the witnesses, in the gym, long before you dance under those lights.' Week 3. It may be recalled that the makers of the film had recently announced that Ukrainian model and actress Maria Riabhoshapka would play the female lead in the film. They had also revealed that she would be playing the character of Clara Whitmore in the film.
Director Hanuma Reddy, while welcoming Maria Riabhoshapka to the film, had shared her poster in the film on his Instagram page and wrote, "Her love is fierce... it's ruthless. Welcome to the Brutal Era."
Actor Manchu Manoj extended a warm welcome to Maria Riabhoshapka. In a post on his Instagram page, he wrote, "The intense world of #DavidReddy welcomes its leading lady - Maria Riabhoshapka, as Clara Whitmore. Her love is War.
