
New Delhi, February 24 KEC International, a company within the RPG Group, announced on Tuesday that it had secured new orders worth ₹1,002 crore across various business segments.
The transmission and distribution (T&D) business has secured orders for 220/132 kV transmission lines, substations, and EHV cabling (a composite order) in India; in addition, it secured orders for a 400 kV transmission line in the international market and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas, according to a company statement.
The cables and conductors business has secured orders for the supply of various types of cables and conductors in both the Indian and overseas markets.
Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International, said, "These orders have significantly strengthened our T&D order book, driven by the substantial composite order secured in the Indian T&D segment. The addition of this order has further diversified our customer base within the Indian T&D order book. With these wins, our order intake for the year stands at ₹21,300 crore."
