
Gangtok, March 22 Sikkim was shaken by a low-intensity earthquake of magnitude 4.1, according to a report issued by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Mangan district, 14 km below the surface, at 8:41 pm on Saturday.
There were no reports of any casualties or property damage, although tremors were felt, officials said.
Residents have been advised to remain vigilant and follow safety precautions, they added.
