
April 10, New Delhi – During the third day of INS Trikand's operational turnaround in Mombasa, Kenya, the ship experienced a combination of wellness activities, engagement, and professional interactions.
An early morning yoga session saw enthusiastic participation from local residents and members of the Kenya Navy.
The Commanding Officer of INS Trikand, along with the Defence Advisor at the Indian High Commission, met with Brigadier MS Shemote, Commander of the Kenya Navy Fleet, at the Kenya Navy Base Mtongwe.
Specialist officers also visited the Kenya Navy Training College, sharing insights on training curriculum and infrastructure development.
INS Trikand arrived in Mombasa on April 7 as part of its ongoing deployment in the South West Indian Ocean region.
