
Jaipur, March 3 A 30-year-old truck driver died after his vehicle crashed into a barrier, overturned, and caught fire in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, police said on Tuesday.
The deceased, identified as Virdi Chand Gurjar, was a resident of Karadala village in Ajmer district.
The incident occurred late Monday night when a trailer truck traveling from Agra to Jaipur lost control near Saras Chauraha and crashed into a barrier. The vehicle overturned, spilling diesel onto the road, which ignited a fire.
The driver was trapped inside the truck and perished in the fire, police said.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control.
