
March 20, New Delhi – U.S. President Donald Trump combined humor with a somewhat awkward historical reference during a press briefing with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi at the White House on Thursday.
The lighthearted tone became a little uncomfortable when Trump referenced Japan's 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor while answering a question about why allies were not informed before the U.S. and Israel launched strikes against Iran.
