
Pune, February 17 – Tvesa Malik scored three birdies in the final four holes, while Ridhima Dilawari had five birdies on her front nine, as both players were neck-and-neck in Round One of Leg 4 of the 2026 Women’s Pro Golf Tour at the Poona Club Golf Course. Both carded a score of 68, one under par, to share the lead after the first day.
The third player in the group, Vani Kapoor (69), was one stroke behind, holding the third position, while amateur Anuradha Chaudhary (70) was the only other player to score under par and finished fourth.
Tvesa, who won a play-off last week in Pune, had one bogey and one birdie on the front nine, while Ridhima had five birdies. Ridhima added a sixth birdie and finished at 68, but made a double bogey on the 11th, birdied the 14th, her seventh birdie of the day, before making a bogey on the 15th, resulting in a final score of 68.
Tvesa birdied the 12th and bogeyed the 13th, finishing level par with four holes remaining. She birdied the 15th, parred the 16th, and finished with two birdies to share the lead.
Amateur Lavanya Gupta carded 72, one over par, and finished fifth, while five players – Sneha Singh, Durga Nittur, Jasmine Shekar, Anivtha Narender, and Vidhatri Urs – were all tied for sixth at 73, two over par each.
Other top players included Amandeep Drall (74) in 11th place, and Neha Tripathi (75) in 14th place.
This week's tournament features a record 49 players competing for a prize purse of Rs. 17 lakhs. Hero MotoCorp's support has taken the tour to new heights.
Last week, Tvesa Malik ended a long winless streak of over two years by winning a play-off against Anvitha Narender in the third leg of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour at the Oxford Golf Resort. Her last win was in September 2023 at DLF Gurugram. Amateur Aradhana Manikandan (72) and seasoned Vani Kapoor (72) were tied for fourth place. They were the only players to finish level par on the final day, and there were no under-par scores.
