March 03, New Delhi – The U.S. embassy in Kuwait has closed indefinitely due to "regional tensions."
Due to ongoing regional tensions, the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait has canceled all appointments for U.S. visas and American Citizen Services until further notice.
The embassy stated that it will communicate when normal operations resume, as well as provide information on how U.S. citizens can request emergency passports if needed.
The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait has instructed staff to continue to remain in place.
