Further interceptions have been reported across the United Arab Emirates as air defense systems engaged a new wave of Iranian missiles and drones targeting the capital region. Debris from the interceptions caused small fires and limited damage in parts of Abu Dhabi, including the Musaffah industrial area. Shrapnel landed on a company in the ICAD zone, where one Ghanaian national sustained moderate injuries. Emergency teams quickly responded to contain the situation, and there are no reports of major structural damage or widespread casualties.

Separately, in the Emirate of Fujairah, response teams handled an incident after an Iranian drone approached a building belonging to the telecommunications company du. No injuries were reported, and assessments of the site are ongoing. This marks the second attack on telecommunications infrastructure in the UAE involving Iranian drones. On the evening of March 30, there was a drone incident in Sharjah that struck the administrative building of Thuraya Telecommunications Company in the emirate’s Central Region.

In Kuwait, air defense systems are also actively responding to incoming Iranian missile and drone threats. Residents attribute the explosions they heard to successful interceptions. Diplomatically, the UAE and Kuwait, along with GCC partners, are continuing efforts to push for de-escalation through international channels and urging urgent negotiations to prevent further escalation. The UAE, in particular, has emphasized that any temporary pause must lead to a comprehensive resolution addressing broader threats to regional security, rather than simply buying time.
