UDHAMPUR, March 6: Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa convened a meeting to review the implementation and progress of the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Scheme in the district.
The DC emphasized expanding coverage to include more workers in the unorganized sector and directed all line departments to intensify grassroots mobilization and awareness campaigns. Departments were tasked with identifying eligible beneficiaries and facilitating enrollment through focused field-level efforts.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, CEO Municipality, Assistant Labour Commissioner, and other officials.
