
February 25, New Delhi: On the fourth anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the United Nations General Assembly expressed strong support for Ukraine on Tuesday.
The assembly adopted a resolution affirming commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
The vote saw 107 countries in favor, 12 against, and 51 abstentions, with the United States among those abstaining. The resolution also called for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and urged a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace.
