Medininagar (Jharkhand), February 23 An unidentified woman was killed after being hit by a train in the Garhwa district of Jharkhand on Monday, police said.
The incident occurred near the Bahera village on the Garhwa-Son Nagar railway section, within the limits of the Haidernagar police station, when the 25-year-old woman was crossing the railway tracks, they said.
Haidernagar police station in-charge Afzal Ansari said, "The victim's identity has not yet been established. The body has been sent to Hussainabad Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem examination."
