March 01, New Delhi – Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has emphasized the rapid progress of India's bullet train project. He stated that the Mumbai–Ahmedabad bullet train is expected to begin operations next year, and once completed, will cover the distance in one hour and fifty-seven minutes at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
He also noted that the Prime Minister has approved seven additional bullet train projects to expand high-speed rail across the country.
