UP Police Arrest Man Over Objectionable Remarks Against Modi.webp

Muzaffarnagar (UP), February 15 A 22-year-old man was arrested here for posting a video on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which allegedly objectionable remarks were made against him, police said on Sunday.

Charthawal police station SHO Satyanarayan Dahiya told reporters that the accused has been identified as Jitendra Kumar Kashyap.

Dahiya said that police have registered a case against Kashyap under Sections 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 353 (statements conducing to public mischief) of the Indian Penal Code and have arrested him.

According to the police, they made the arrest on Saturday evening after the video of the prime minister went viral on social media.
