
Lucknow, March 30 Uttar Pradesh received traces of rainfall in Agra and Aligarh on Monday, according to the local meteorological department.
According to the Met department, the state capital Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 37.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius.
Banda was the hottest place in the state, with the mercury reaching 41.4 degrees Celsius, followed by Prayagraj at 40.5 degrees Celsius.
Rain and thunderstorms are very likely in isolated areas across eastern Uttar Pradesh, and in a few areas across western Uttar Pradesh, the department said in a statement.
