
March 15, New Delhi: In Jammu and Kashmir, a Pakistani terrorist was killed after security forces foiled an infiltration attempt in the Uri sector of the Baramulla district.
According to the Indian Army, a joint operation with the Jammu and Kashmir Police was launched during the night of March 14 and 15, following specific intelligence inputs about an infiltration attempt.
Security forces recovered war-like stores from the site, including an AK rifle, pistols, and a large quantity of ammunition. Following the incident, additional troops have been deployed in the area, and surveillance has been intensified with the support of ground and aerial assets to ensure the safety of citizens in the region.
