US-India Collaboration Strengthens AI Supply Chain Security.webp

February 20, New Delhi – India has officially joined Pax Silica, a United States-led initiative on artificial intelligence and supply chain security, during the Global AI Impact Summit in New Delhi.

The Pax Silica Declaration was signed in the presence of Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology, and Jacob Helberg, US Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, was also present at the signing ceremony and emphasized that the world is on the verge of an era of rapid progress and new discoveries through AI.

He highlighted the need for collective efforts to make the benefits of AI accessible to everyone, everywhere, and stressed the critical role of the US–India partnership.
