March 16, New Delhi — U.S. President Donald Trump accused Iran of using artificial intelligence as a "disinformation weapon" to exaggerate its wartime achievements and garner support.
In a post on Truth Social, U.S. President Trump stated that Iran had deployed "kamikaze boats" that do not actually exist. He also claimed that Iran used AI to falsely portray a successful attack on the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, and added that publications spreading such reports should be charged with treason.
