
New Delhi, February 27 Silver prices rose by 3.17 per cent to Rs 2.67 lakh per kg in futures trading on Wednesday, amid renewed uncertainty regarding US trade policy.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of silver for March delivery increased by Rs 8,231, or 3.17 per cent, to Rs 2,67,900 per kilogram in a trading volume of 3,352 lots.
Analysts said that the rise in silver prices was due to fresh positions taken by participants.
In the overseas market, Comex silver futures increased by USD 1.82, or 2.06 per cent, to USD 90.11 per ounce.
