New Delhi, April 11 A 26-year-old man, who was trapped under a fallen tree in Uttam Nagar, West Delhi, was rescued on Friday afternoon, according to officials from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS).
"A call was received at 4:36 pm regarding the incident at the A-Block cremation ground near a gurudwara in the area," a DFS official said, adding that two fire tenders were rushed to the scene.
A tree had uprooted, possibly due to strong winds, and a man, identified as Kallu, was trapped under it. He was later rescued after the branches were cut, officials said.
