April 10, New Delhi - Uttarakhand's Minister of Disaster Management and Rehabilitation, Madan Kaushik, inspected a state-level disaster management mock drill in Dehradun on Friday, ahead of the Char Dham Yatra.
The exercise, conducted across seven districts, is being held under the joint auspices of the National Disaster Management Authority and the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority. Officials said the drill aims to strengthen preparedness and response systems at the State Emergency Operations Centre for the upcoming pilgrimage.
