Chennai, February 21 – The makers of director Kenthiran V's high-octane action drama 'Vadam', starring Vimal in the lead role, released a gripping trailer of the film on Saturday, much to the delight of fans and movie enthusiasts.

Masani Pictures, the production house behind the film, posted on its social media accounts: "Proudly presenting the #Vadam Trailer ✨ This is a real Jallikattu incident! Get ready for a thrilling rural action drama. Trailer now available! #VadamFromMarch6th."

The trailer shows Vimal as a bull owner, with his majestic bull participating in the traditional sport of Jallikattu. Soon after, we see an elderly man seeking assassins to kill someone. He is seen asking for assassins who can decapitate a man. The person responding to the elderly man searching for assassins asks for the identity of the person to be killed. We then see a series of assassination attempts, but none are successful.

The elderly man who initially inquired about assassins is seen making further inquiries. "These people don't seem like the type. Can they actually do it?" More action sequences follow. Meanwhile, we see that the area has a local leader who says that his primary duty is to the town and its 10 surrounding villages.

Vimal, who is featured in several action sequences, says that those who do something for money might back out, but those who do it for honor will not.

At one point, the person who ordered the assassination says, "There's no need to be discreet and attack him from behind. Kill him from the front."

The high-octane action thriller will feature Vimal, along with Nataraj (Natty), Sanashka Sri, Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan, Aadukalam Naren, Madhusudhan Rao, Deepa Shankar, and Indumathy Manikandan.

Produced by Rajasekar R, the film has music by D Imman and cinematography by Prasanna S Kumar. The editing is by Sabu Joseph VJ, and the art direction is by V. Sasikumar.

The stunts for the film were choreographed by G.N. Murugan, while the dances were choreographed by Dinesh, Dheena, and Santhosh. P A Shanmugam co-directed the film.

The film is scheduled to be released on March 6th this year.
