March 27, New Delhi: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated that the government has established a transparent, tender-based mechanism for railway land development, adding that previous processes lacked clarity and had hindered progress. He said the revamped system will enable the efficient use of railway land for commercial and housing projects through fair and accountable procedures.
