
Jaipur, April 1 Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said on Wednesday that schools are key centers for instilling moral values in students, and emphasized that teachers play a crucial role in shaping the personality and future of children.
Addressing a function after inaugurating a multipurpose auditorium at Adarsh Vidya Mandir in Rajapark here, Sharma said educational institutions not only impart knowledge but also nurture values such as compassion, service, and responsibility.
"Schools sow the seeds of values among students, while teachers strengthen them by imparting education and motivating them to move forward," he said, adding that the state government is working with commitment to strengthen the education sector.
Highlighting the importance of youth, Sharma said India has the world's largest young population, which is its greatest strength, and that educated youth contribute not only to their own growth but also to the nation's development.
He said the government is committed to ensuring access to quality education for all children, whether in urban or rural areas, and is also promoting entrepreneurship among youth so that they become job creators.
The chief minister also said that, unlike the previous government, there have been no paper leak incidents during the tenure of the present government.
Efforts are underway to employ four lakh people in the government sector and six lakh in the private sector, with more than 1.25 lakh appointments already made, he added.
Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa said teachers play an important role not only in imparting knowledge but also in building character and values among students.
Several public representatives, officials, and students were present on the occasion, an official statement said.
