A wave of patriotism and cultural pride swept through District Doda as educational institutions actively participated in the special phase of celebrations commemorating the 150th anniversary of the National Song "Vande Mataram." The celebrations were marked by a series of vibrant and meaningful activities organized across schools in different zones of the district.

Schools, including Government High School Panjsoo, PM SHRI HSS Trown, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Doda, GHSS Boys Doda, GHSS Behota, GHSS Inharrah, GHSS Berarru, GHS Udhyanpur, GHS Dharewri (Bhalessa), GHS Nichlathara Gatha (Bhaderwah), Government Middle School Julloo (Bhalessa), GHSS Kilhotran and GHSS Chinta Bhaderwah, organized a variety of programs featuring mass singing of "Vande Mataram," patriotic choir performances, painting competitions, cultural activities, skits, and awareness sessions.

Students and staff participated with great enthusiasm, presenting soulful renditions of patriotic songs, thought-provoking speeches, and creative performances that reflected themes of unity, national pride, and respect for India's rich cultural heritage. Special emphasis was placed on educating students about the historical significance of "Vande Mataram" and its role in India's freedom struggle.

Several institutions also highlighted inclusivity and creativity through artistic competitions and cultural presentations, with the participation of children with special needs. These events not only fostered a sense of patriotism but also encouraged confidence, teamwork, and active student engagement.

The celebrations created an inspiring atmosphere of unity, pride, and collective spirit across the district, reinforcing the values of nationalism and harmony among young minds.
