Thane, April 10 The Sub-Regional Transport Office (SRTO) in Kalyan, Thane district, earned ₹437.80 crore in the 2025-26 fiscal, a 17.61% increase compared to last year's revenue of ₹372 crore, an official said on Friday.
The SRTO Kalyan deposited ₹437.80 crore into the government treasury in 2025-26, exceeding the budgeted revenue target, with a major portion coming from vehicle registrations, Deputy Regional Transport Officer Ashutosh Barkul said.
"A total of 1,08,125 vehicles were registered by the office, comprising 79,557 two-wheelers, 16,826 four-wheelers, 3,571 auto-rickshaws, and 4,292 goods vehicles," he added.
