
Veerannagattupalli (Andhra Pradesh), April 5 A government bus caught fire after coming into contact with a low-hanging high-voltage electric wire on Sunday on the Vempalli-Rayachoti main road in the Kadapa district, police said.
However, no casualties or injuries were reported.
The bus was traveling from Kadapa to Kadiri via Vempalli and Talupula when the incident occurred.
"Sparks were caused when the (APSRTC) bus came into contact with a low-hanging high-voltage electric wire, which led to a fire. The driver, conductor, and all passengers were safely evacuated in time. No casualties or injuries were reported," Pulivendula Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Murli Naik told
