Amit Shah Leads ‘Vijay Sankalp Sabha’ in Hailakandi

In Assam, Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the BJP-led NDA’s ‘Vijay Sankalp Sabha’ in Hailakandi district, addressing a massive public rally at the DSA Ground.

The gathering saw an estimated turnout of nearly 50,000 people, which the BJP views as a significant demonstration of strength ahead of the Assembly elections.

The rally was organized in support of NDA candidates – BJP’s Dr. Milon Das and AGP’s Jakir Hussain Laskar. Karimganj Lok Sabha MP Kripanath Mallah and State BJP Vice-President Moon Swarnakar were also present at the event.

In his address, Amit Shah highlighted various developmental initiatives undertaken by the Assam government over the past five years. He stated that work on establishing medical colleges in several districts is progressing, and assured that a medical college will be set up in Hailakandi within the next two years.

He also reiterated the BJP’s commitment to implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state and claimed that significant steps have already been taken to address Assam’s recurring flood problem, expressing confidence that floods would soon become a thing of the past.
