April 09, New Delhi – India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met Under Secretary for the Bureau of Industry and Security, Jeffrey Kessler, and Under Secretary for International Trade, William Kimmitt, at the US Department of Commerce during his visit to Washington, D.C.
The leaders discussed ways to boost bilateral trade between India and the US and promote investment in strategic and emerging technologies.
The Foreign Secretary also met Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment, Michael P. Duffey, to advance the India-US major defence partnership, focusing on co-production, sustainment, and shared priorities in the Indo-Pacific.
