
April 10, New Delhi: India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is on a visit to Washington, D.C. to further discussions on strengthening India-United States bilateral ties.
During the visit, Secretary Misri met US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker at the State Department, where both sides reviewed the full spectrum of the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership and exchanged views on key regional and global issues.
Earlier, Secretary Misri also held talks with Under Secretary for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg, focusing on expanding technology cooperation. The discussions covered resilient supply chains and collaboration in semiconductors, critical minerals, quantum technologies, artificial intelligence, nuclear energy, as well as the next steps under the Pax Silica initiative.
