
Los Angeles, March 17 Hollywood actor Benjamin Bratt has joined the star cast of the upcoming Amazon MGM thriller film, titled "Ally Clark".
According to entertainment news outlet Deadline, the film also stars Viola Davis and Jason Clark. Directed by Phillip Noyce, it is written by Jose Ruisanchez and Irwin Winkler.
The plot follows an investigator, Ally Clark (Davis), as she undertakes a dangerous investigation into an international conglomerate following the suspicious death of a close friend.
Details about Bratt's character are being kept under wraps.
The film is produced by Winkler Films' Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, David Winkler, Ruisanchez, and JuVee Productions' Davis and Julius Tennon. Melanie Clark from JuVee is also an executive producer, alongside Ian Watermeier.
Bratt is known for his roles in the 90s series "Detective Rey Curtis on Law & Order" and films such as "Miss Congeniality", "Traffic", and "Blood In Blood Out", among others.
