Co-founder of Sarvam AI, Dr. Vivek Raghavan, stated that the company has focused on the culture and diversity of the country, which has 22 official languages and numerous dialects. Speaking to the media in New Delhi, he explained that Sarvam AI has developed affordable and efficient models because India is a cost-conscious nation.
Regarding the use of Sarvam AI, Mr. Raghavan said that the company is currently working to enable users to access products and services through voice commands. He added that people can use Sarvam AI in their own language. The co-founder demonstrated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi how Sarvam AI can be accessed using basic feature phones.
