Voter Exclusion Cases to be Heard by Appellate Tribunals.webp

According to directives from the Supreme Court, appellate tribunals are scheduled to begin proceedings today to hear cases of voters whose names were excluded from the list under consideration as part of the SIR (Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls). The Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court, Sujoy Pal, informed the Supreme Court that nearly 2 lakh names are being reviewed daily and expressed confidence that the review process would be completed by April 7.
