KATHUA, March 27, 2026: To promote water sports and adventure activities at the Ranjit Sagar Dam in Basohli, the J&K Sports Council has established a dedicated water sports center along the reservoir bank.
The center will train young athletes in disciplines such as surfing, kayaking, and water polo, while also hosting recreational activities and regular events.
Former DDC Chairman, Colonel Mahan Singh, stated that this initiative will significantly boost adventure sports in the region, with local youth showing great enthusiasm for the new facility.
