New Delhi, February 27 Prices of cottonseed oil cake fell by ₹34 to ₹3,235 per quintal in futures trading on Friday, as participants reduced their positions, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded lower by ₹34, or 1.04%, to ₹3,235 per quintal, with an open interest of 53,630 lots.
Analysts said that a sell-off by participants at existing levels, amid a subdued market trend, weighed on the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
