
Jaipur, March 13 Parts of Rajasthan are likely to experience gusty winds and light rain starting Saturday due to a change in weather conditions, the MeT department said on Friday.
"A new western disturbance has become active in the region, which may lead to partly cloudy skies over the next one to two days and a drop of 2.3 degrees Celsius in temperature," the department said.
Light thunderstorms, rain, or drizzle are likely in isolated areas in the districts of Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Sri Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh, as well as nearby areas, on March 14 and 15.
Another western disturbance is likely to become active between March 19 and 21, which may also bring thunderstorms and light rain in a few areas.
Meanwhile, the weather remained dry across the state until Friday morning.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.8 degrees Celsius in Kota and 39.4 degrees Celsius in Barmer yesterday.
